Kennesaw, GA / August 6, 2010 – When the dorm rooms open this fall, Kennesaw State student Samantha True will already be ahead of the class as an entrepreneur. As a new affiliate of MPB Today, Samantha has created an opportunity to help fund her college experience that her tuition alone won’t cover. Without having to take valuable time away from her studies she is able to recruit her friends to join her and make money which includes commissions and $200 WalMart cards.
Since there is no limit in income, Samantha studied how she could help herself and her friends get the things they needed on a regular basis while being away from the comforts of home. She figures that the $200 WalMart cards will come in handy for things like food and gas and she will use her commissions to help offset the costs of items any of her scholarship money won’t cover.
“I love knowing that my friends and I can all help each other,” said college student Samantha True. “How cool is it to know that I can go to one of my favorite shopping places and get what I need? College is already stressful enough but now I can shop too! One of my friends decided to just use her WalMart cards and save the rest of her money for graduate school. With the economy the way it is, most of my friends are planning to go to further their education in hopes the jobs will be there afterwards.”
Samantha learned of the program from her mother’s friend
who has been successful in her efforts as an affiliate. She understood that the possibilities were endless with all of her friends as well as their additional friends. Plus, she knew there would be new students all of the time needing the same kind of help.
“I was having lunch with a friend when it dawned on me that her daughter could benefit from this program,” said Laura Ward, affiliate sponsor of MPB Today. “Remembering back to my own college days when I always was asking for more money, I thought this would help alleviate the problem for both my friend and her daughter. How easy would it be that she could get normal things from groceries to oil changes to basic goods and even gas in a controlled environment and not worry about where the money was going?”
“The simple fact that she could have a $200 card from WalMart meant I knew she’d be spending it on things she needed – even if it was the occasional clothes item for the weekend out,” continued Laura Ward. “The extra $300 wouldn’t hurt and could then be used for tuition or spending money.”
