If you are a gadget freak you must be familiar with a gadget named iphone. It is the most advanced and leading gadget of all time in the market. It is known for its multimedia and innovative applications. It is a product of apple; it is the most reliable, popular, hi-tech and advance brand and also the most expensive one. Development of the iPhone began with Apple CEO Steve Jobs' direction that Apple engineers investigate touch screens. Apple created the device during a secretive and unprecedented collaboration with ATT Mobility Cingular Wirelessat the time at an estimated development cost of US150 million over thirty months. Apple rejected the "design by committee" approach that had yielded the Motorola ROKR, a largely unsuccessful collaboration with Motorola.

Instead, Cingular gave Apple the liberty to develop the iPhone's hardware and software in-housein exchange for exclusive U.S. sales until 2011. Despite of all these features, applications and keeping in mind that it is the most popular phone. It is known for its features like multitasking; you can run your favoritethird-party apps and switch between them instantly without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily. You can drag and drop to organize apps into folders on your Home screens and get fast access to your favorites. It also has a distinct feature called ibooks. More than a full-colorreader, iBooksis also an amazing place to browse and shop for books anytime you feel like it. And also well known among the general public, it still has some defects. Those who use this gadget report many defects in it. The most common defects are light leak; it is complainregarding the backlight of the phone.

Some others say that their apple logo is cheaply painted like dots of paint and doesnt seem to be a real one. Also it has been noticed that the volume up/down button gets loose and it stops working at times. Often the silent/ringer switch is tilted when you put it to silent and stops working at times for unspecified time limit. Sometimes the screen is tilted too. Some of the pixels in the display seem to be dead at times. Some users have reported that when they wake up their iphone3g they get about a 2-3 second lag its not responsiveright away. Also when you turn on the phone there are long pauses at times and you have to wait for several times. Last but not the least, another defect reported inthe iphone3gs screen is like aold TV when you turn it off you see a line in the middle of the screen before it turns off which is sort of scary at times. Iphonehas got the biggest market and largest number of customers.Despite of these facts and figures there are some major drawbacks and defects reported by iphoneusers.Iphone seriously need to work on these issues in order to retain their customers.
