Here are several tips that will help you land great seats and not to get bumped off the flight.
PREASSIGN your seats. Whenever you purchase the flight tickets through an agent or a travel website, you can always book the seats on a plane at the same time or right after you purchased the tickets. Often you may view the seat map (aircraft configuration) with available and occupied seats and choose whichever seats you prefer.
