So far Apple is reputed to sell the best phones, tablets and other computing devices. No doubt Apple stands out all other devices, theres got to be a competition for which device is best amongst all Apple products. The competition is not for any sort of criticism. Instead, it is for the purpose of evaluation of the best device released by Apple yet. Principally, we will compare iPhone and iPad, being two of the major devices released by apple. These two devices will be passed against several category tests, and the one who has won in the more categories will be ultimately the best device.
The first category is memory. An iPhone comes in two models; one is a 16 GB one, while the other is a 32 GB model. It even does not has an external memory support, so all in all, the phones memory is limited to just 32 GB. Meanwhile, this is not the case with iPad. IPad is available in 16, 32 and an incredible 64 GB model. This means that you can add double multimedia to your iPad than what you can do in iPhone. Seems really awesome? Surely it is. So you can store like endless movies, songs, videos and applications to your iPad, and enjoy using them.
The next major discrimination between the two is regarding resolution. IPhone has a screen resolution of 480x320 pixels. Although it is blessed with the feature of retina display, which helps to display everything more clearly, the quality of games and movies would not be as high as that of any other high-resolution device. While on the other hand, iPad has a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels. Now, you can clearly see the difference, when iPad 3 is also equipped with the retina display feature. So along with being clear, iPad delivers images, graphics, movies and everything in very high graphics.
Obviously iPad has a larger screen size than iPhone. But what is more important is the size of keyboard. You cannot type very fast on the iPhone, nor can you attach a dock able keyboard to it. In the case of iPad, its keyboard is larger and spreads out on the screen. Besides, you can have an external keyboard, which can be connected via Bluetooth. With a large screen and easy inputting method, iPad is surely your greatest business partner on the go.
Apple app store is full of apps, but amongst them, some are restricted for some devices. For example, iPad is reputed to run most of the apps of Apple app store, and some are even specially designed for it. However, iPhone cannot run all the applications, and lags behind in this field too. Other features at which iPad is better-off than iPhone are the processor speed, ibooks, etc. But the major and very important feature that iPad is deprived off is that though it is not compatible to a network. It does not offer the facility of phone and messaging, which is the biggest reason why its use is limited.
