Indore,– National Aptitude Test (NAT) 2010, the national level common entrance test for admission into courses in various streams — management and allied programs like BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, PGDBM, Hotel Management etc. — through which 55 higher education Institutes including eight Universities accept students will be held on May 23, 2010 at 24 cities across the country.

NAT, first held in 2005, is conducted by SRDE’s Association of Higher Education Institutions (SAHEI), established under the aegis of Society for Research & Development in Education (SRDE) every year in an effort to facilitate a single window system for the students seeking admission in management and professional programmes available in different institutions on the panel of SAHEI.

 

About 55 Institutions across the country are conducting admissions to their professional courses through NAT scores. These institutions comprises of eight Universities including the prestigious Tilak Maharastra Vidyapeeth University Pune. Prominent among the other institutions are Foresight Institute of Management and Research Pune, International School of Management Studies Pune, Synergy Institute of Management Pune, Dish Institute of Management Technology Raipur and RITEE Group of Institutions Raipur.

 

Himachal Pradesh University that has recently decided to consider NAT for admission to its MBA programme in all its affiliated colleges in Himachal Pradesh like HPCMAT etc. The other seven Universities associated with NAT are EIILM University, Gujrat Vidyapeeth University, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University Jaipur, Teerthanker Mahavir University Moradabad, Jagan Nath University Jaipur and Lovely Professional University Phagwara, Punjab. Several more Universities and State Governments are in the process of adopting NAT for the benefit of its institutions and students across the country.

 

The last day for sale of admission forms for NAT 2010 is May 3, 2010 and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 23, 2010 in 24 cities across India. The complete NAT form can be submitted till May 7, 2010 at Delhi office. The NAT form and bulletin are also available at selected branches of Syndicate Bank across 47 cities besides some special sale counters. Students that are appearing for, have appeared or passed 10+2 are eligible to take NAT-UG. While the NAT-PG can be attempted by students who are appearing for, have appeared or passed their 10+2+3 (graduation).
