Farnaz Khan, 30, got the idea for the site after becoming frustrated at how complicated many competitions were to enter.
Prizeboom.com, which launched earlier this year, offers members the chance to win a wide range of prizes online for free.
Members can win cash, holidays, gadgets and great days out, for free and from the comfort of their own home. All they have to do is register and click to enter the listed competitions
The site had over a million visitors a month prior to its recent re-launch, with visitors to the new site growing rapidly on a daily basis.
Farnaz, from Bradford, said she’s glad to be able to help others who love competitions just as much as she does.
She said: “Looking after four children I found I was spending a lot of time in the house. I fancied trying something new for a bit of a break and decided to enter a few competitions winning £500 almost immediately. From then on I became hooked - the buzz of winning was something I craved more and more.
“I’d enter competitions in magazines, newspaper and on TV but always found the process fussy and time consuming.
“I decided that there must be a simpler way and after getting companies to agree to provide prizes I decided to launch my own website, focusing on making competitions quick and easy to enter. No calls, no postage, no fuss.”
Currently up for grabs on the site are £5000 cash, holidays to Rome and Paris, driving experience days and theme park tickets.
Ms Khan says she’s optimistic about the future as more Brits go online for the chance to win big.
She said: “Memberships are increasingly rapidly as word spreads about the site. A lot of our members have referred their friends, keen to get them in on the free prize action.
“Nothing beats the thrill of winning and I think a lot of members feel like they’re cheating the system when they walk away with a great prize having only spent a few minutes online.
“The bigger the site gets the more companies are willing to donate great prizes, so everyone benefits. We plan to offer bigger and better prizes all the time, something I’m sure will excite out members.
“We’re hoping to add thousands more members over the next few months, who knows maybe one day we’ll be the biggest free competitions site in the world, not just the UK.”
