Its not hard to believe that Social Media is the new bible of the online fraternity. As Content creation, Connectivity and Conversion form the new media triangle, most of the buzz, hype and confusion.

Forgive me if I sound a little carried away by the season sentiments, but I do believe that Social Media is the new Bible of the masses where Content creation, Connectivity and Conversion form the new media trinity. Most of the bustle, the hype and the confusion revolve around these three entities.

As long as people are alive, there will be Content creation, for god said: Be Social. Let the Web teem with living conversations, and the tweets fly above the earth across the expanse of the Internet.

Hence, conversation was on the fly and the Web was filled with a plethora of content, of every kind, with blogs, videos and tunes, and images and apps of many kinds, animating the web with the spirit of life.

But just content creation is not enough. We need a place to showcase our creation. And, that is when god spoke about Connectivity: Be Found. Let there be connectivity. For, all the content is brought to nothing if there is no connectivity.

So conversation took wings and the Web was filled with content of every kind, with corporate and individual blogs, videos and tunes, and flickering images and apps of every kind, animating the Web with the spirit of life.

We need to reach out and make sure that the content is discoverable in the right social media networks such as Face book, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

And finally, god let out a little secret about Conversion: Build Trust. Sustain the content and build credibility so they will come to you.

This means no selling of things you want to dispose anyway, but listening and giving what your audience really needs. Thats what Santa does. He doesnt give away old clothes with new labels but only that which you have been dreaming of the whole year. That is why you believe in Santa. Thats how you build credibility. Now go forth and spread the good cheer.

Listening and providing what your audience really needs. Thats how you build credibility.
